A two-player game of infinite tag viewed through an endless tunnel inside a capsule.
Each player views the action through a hole on either side of the capsule. A double sided little infinity mirror gives the perception of endless depth from either perspective. You control one of the LED's (either red or blue/green) with a knob that allows you to move clockwise or counterclockwise. The flashing LED will be who is "it" and will need to "catch" the other player. At that point the other player becomes "it" and the game switches roles and continues until the first person reaches six wins.
The original was made for the Alt Ctrl Game Jam 2015 with the theme of "Multiple Realities".
Infinitag Capsule version 2.0 (on the right below) features twice the resolution, brighter pixels, and angled knobs for ease of play.
Here's a Youtube compressed video of gameplay which doesn't quite do the in person effect justice. There's an aspect to the experience that can't be captured on video. Be warned there are flashing lights ahead:
Here are some pics from when I was showing the Infinitag Capsule at the Gametasting session during IndieXchange, as part of IndieCade 2016.
